Collector's notes: With the main character Ricki Lake as the main character of hairspray the movie was a hit. The movie is about a teen living in Baltimore in 1962. She has a different view on life and believes that everyone should be treated fairly; encouraging a march for civil rights and air time, for an African American daytime television show.
